We rated the Loving Naturals Organic SPF 30 Sunscreen our #1 sunblock of 2011. Although Loving Naturals advertises and promotes this product as a sunscreen, it’s actually a sunblock. We know this by one of the main ingredients, Zinc Oxide. Zinc Oxide is the compound which helps in blocking both the UVA and UVB sun rays. We found this sunblock to be the best all around sunblock due to it’s organic ingredients (mentioned below) and the fact that it didn’t leave us with a white residue or oily feeling on our skin. It also feels like a cream rather than a lotion and was easily rubbed into our skin.

There was a light white residue look on our skin but once it was rubbed in, it almost totally disappeared. If it feels greasy, oily or pasty looking make sure you rub it into your skin. This sunblock is great for the whole family including young children and babies. Remember, it’s organic so it’s priced a little higher than other sunblocks but it’s a case of “you get what you pay for”. Pick up a bottle to try on your next weekend outing, you’ll be happy you did.

Ingredients: Non-Nano Particle Zinc Oxide (24.8%), Grape Seed Oil, Organic Sunflower Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglycerides (derived from Coconut Oil), Soy Wax (Non-GMO), Organic Olive Oil, Organic Plum Kernel Oil, Organic Sesame Oil, Candelilla Wax, Organic Hemp Seed Oil, Organic Macadamia Nut Oil, Organic Cocoa (Fair Trade), Organic Green Tea, Vitamin E Oil.
