We rated the Fallene Total Block UVA/UVB Complete Full Spectrum Sun Protection our #3 sunblock of 2010. Although it didn't do as well as our #1 pick or our #2 pick, it's still a great product. The reason we didn't rate it any higher is mainly due to the fact that it's difficult to rub the product into our skin once applied, leaving a pasty look on our face. If you don't mind the whitish look, you'll have no problems with this product at all. We used it outside in 6 hour increments in the blistering Florida sun with little problems. We had no tan or skin color changes at all, it did totally block the sun's UVA and UVB rays, the only slight issue was that when we went into the water, we needed to reapply the sunblock after getting out of the water, it is not waterproof.

The Fallene Total Block UVA/UVB Complete Full Spectrum Sun Protection is a great alternative to our higher ranked products as long as you don't mind a slightly pasty look and your not going into the water. It's great for park or weekends spent outdoor, it will definitely keep you from getting any type of sun, it truly is a total sunblock.

We rated Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 85 our #2 sunblock of 2010. Neutrogena makes some excellent products and the Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch collection are ranked near the top of their porfolio. The reason we gave it second place and not first place is because it lacked the Organic ingredients of Loving Naturals Organic Sunscreen.

Although This Neutrogena product didn't rank as #1, it is still an excellent product. During our testing the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 85 worked well in all different kinds of weather, even the extreme heat of the summer months in Florida. It left our skin soft and smooth with no oily or white residue. If you experience a white or oily residue, you haven't rubbed the sunblock into your skin enough. In conclusion, this is a great product and would have won our 2010 review but it lacked organic materials, other than that it's a great product which you won't be disappointed in.

We rated the Loving Naturals Organic SPF 30 Sunscreen our #1 sunblock of 2010. Although Loving Naturals advertises and promotes this product as a sunscreen, it's actually a sunblock. We know this by one of the main ingredients, Zinc Oxide. Zinc Oxide is the compound which helps in blocking both the UVA and UVB sun rays. We found this sunblock to be the best all around sunblock due to it's organic ingredients (mentioned below) and the fact that it didn't leave us with a white residue or oily feeling on our skin. It also feels like a cream rather than a lotion and was easily rubbed into our skin.

There was a light white residue look on our skin but once it was rubbed in, it almost totally disappeared. If it feels greasy, oily or pasty looking make sure you rub it into your skin. This sunblock is great for the whole family including young children and babies. Remember, it's organic so it's priced a little higher than other sunblocks but it's a case of "you get what you pay for". Pick up a bottle to try on your next weekend outing, you'll be happy you did.
